Ovale

Created by the merger of Les Œufs Blais et Breton et Les Œufs Avibro, Ovale and its associates make up the largest egg grading group in Canada, with four egg grader stations and a huge distribution network covering a vast territory that includes Ontario, Québec and the Maritimes.

Our network produces a total of 44 million dozen eggs for our customers in all markets.

With some twenty varieties of eggs on supermarket shelves, Ovale holds 40% of the Quebec market share and generates $65 million in revenues. The plant in Saint-Lambert employs 65 people.

Vitœuf inc.

Founded in 1984, Vitœuf specializes in egg processing. In its first 10 years of operation, the Vitœuf plant mainly produced “EXPRESS” eggs that are vacuum-packed and preservative-free, a unique process in North-America, and hard boiled eggs in brine (with preservatives).

An expansion in 1994 allowed us to add a new egg processing operation to produce ultra-pasteurized liquid eggs sold under our brand name “OVOFLO”.

We implement the strictest sanitation procedures in processing areas and production equipments to ensure quality egg products.

We serve a large area : Quebec, the Maritimes and Ontario.
